Today, the final stage of the Formula 1 season began. The last event of the calendar takes place on the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. There are not enough words to describe this place – let’s just say that it is one of the jewels in the crown of the F1 world. This is a place where great imagination meets great technology. And most certainly creativity and innovation are in abundance around the place…
There is no better stage at the moment to host the championship finale where four of the best drivers in the world will contest the drivers’ title until the checkered flag is waived late in the afternoon on Sunday. With the colour-changing Yas Marina Hotel proudly standing over the circuit and the Ferrari World theme park (home of the fastest roller coaster in the world – accelerating from 0 to 240 km/h in 4 seconds) the man-made island off the coast of Abu Dhabi can be called a wonderland without any doubt.
One thing is certain – this weekend people from all over the world will tune in to witness the end of a thrilling F1 season at the most fitting location at the moment – the Yas Marin Circuit near Abu Dhabi, UAE.
